Coffee and tea service
Designed by Gustav Elsaß, manufactured by Koch & Bergfeld, 1938-1940. This 925 silver service consists of a coffee pot (H. 19 cm), a teapot (H. 20 cm), a creamer (H. 7 cm), a sugar bowl (H. 10 cm) with a sugar spoon (L. 10.5 cm), and a tray (4 x 53.5 x 33 cm). This exceptional design is characterized by its clear, organic, drop-like, and elegant form combined with small, playful details made of silver wire and loop-like elements. The handles of the pots and tray are made of wood. Weight: 2,769 g. The items are each marked on the underside with the maker's mark, the '925' purity hallmark, a crescent moon and crown, and the respective model number.
