Large Kummet Vase

Black and white porcelain vase. Designed by Beate Kuhn, manufactured by Rosenthal, Selb, 1957. Exceptional, sculptural vase body. A slightly axially twisted, ellipsoidal tubular ring is thickened to form a flattened base. The outer sides are glazed black, while the inner surfaces are white. Two oval vase openings are located at the top. 43 cm x 20 cm x 8.4 cm. Marked on the underside with the manufacturer's mark 'Rosenthal Germany' and marked with an 'A' in black.
