2 rare lounge chairs from a villa in Havana
Design from the 1950s. Made of wood with leather straps, loose seat cushions with fabric upholstery. 100 x 91 x 80 cm. These two armchairs, along with two other examples without carvings, were acquired around 2010 from an elderly woman in Havana. After the purchase, the seller mentioned that the armchairs were said to have come from the former presidential palace of Fulgencio Batista in Havana.
