Designed in 2010, limited re-edition from 2024, this is number 4 of 50 copies. Manufactured by Cassina. Wooden frame with straps, fabric with 3D effect, PU foam padding with a percentage of polyols from biological sources, lining made of recycled PET fibers, 126 x 320 x 110 cm. Marked on the back with a moon motif, and additionally a metal plaque on the underside indicating the edition.
This design is essentially a redesign of the 1979 Tramonto a New York model, in which Pesce, true to New York's motto 'The city that never sleeps', juxtaposes sunrise with night. Cassina released this limited re-edition, enlarged by 20%, shortly after Pesce's death on April 4, 2024.
