'Oxblood' Vase, 1930

Large Sang-de-boeuf vase. Porcelain, oxblood-red flowing glaze over a light, partially light turquoise ground. Glaze with crackle. Elongated ovoid shape with a distinct neck. Foot rim with copper-colored metal trim. H. 41.5 cm. Marked on the base: green factory mark S/ SEVRES/ MANUFACTURE NATIONALE with the date letter C and LG 29.5.PN (incised).

Manufacturing-related craquelure in the lower part of the vase and on the base.
