Tea machine, 19th century.
Silver. An urn-shaped body with a continuous vine leaf frieze and two tall volute handles on the sides rests on a trefoil, concave, blackened wooden stand on three claw feet. The curved crown is in the form of an eagle's head. The inset slip-on lid has a palmette-shaped knob. Total weight 1388 grams. Marks worn. Burner missing. H 34 cm, D 20 cm. Provenance:
