Figure of a guardian (Lokapala)

Standing figure on an irregular, rock-like base, with bent right arm and raised left arm, hands with spread fingers. The guard wears a helmet and armor with epaulettes and
a central belt buckle in the shape of an animal face, underneath a long, pleated tunic.
The eyes and mouth are wide open and expressive. Light earthenware with remnants
of cold painting. Height 92 cm.
Report TL-Test Oxford Authentication No. C125p41 from October 15th 2025 confirms the dating.
