'Oxblood' Vase, 1926

Large Sang-de-boeuf vase. Porcelain, oxblood-red flowing glaze, partially turquoise, light blue, and multi-toned violet. Glaze with crackle. Elongated ovoid shape with a distinct neck. Foot rim with copper-colored, hammered metal trim. Height 42 cm. Marked on the base: gray and black, vertically rectangular factory mark with the date S/ 1926/ DN, below which is MADE IN/ FRANCE.

Lip margins with slight discoloration in places. Metal ring with a small dent.
