Rare armchair model Fauteuil Démontable
Knock-down lounge chair, designed in the early 1950s, early production circa 1953. Disassembles into 3 parts. Mahogany, nickel-plated tubular steel, plastic rope webbing. 70 x 64 x 80 cm, seat height 41 cm. At the time of the design, Ketoff was working as an engineer for Jean Prouvé. Early versions of the chair were made in Prouvé's workshop in Maxeville. In 1956, Steph Simon started production of a canvas-upholstered version.
