Innsbruck
Small cabinet of drawers, 16th/17th century

Various fruitwoods, stained wood, and marbled burl veneer on softwood. Iron fittings. Rectangular, two-door cabinet on a projecting top. The exteriors are decorated with veneer panels. Inside, ten drawers are arranged in four rows around a central compartment with a door, flanked by two half-columns. Behind one of these columns
is a narrow, pull-out secret compartment. All fronts and the inside of the doors are decorated with Mannerist ruin landscapes. Each exterior door features a central columbine flower in a frame.. 25.5 x 33.5 x 20 cm.
