Small ladies' secretary in Louis XVI style
Various precious woods veneered on oak. A straight, rectangular body rests on tall, tapered square legs, connected by a recessed storage compartment. A fold-out worktop with a leather inlay at the front, behind which are staggered compartments with drawers. A narrow drawer above and a slightly overhanging white marble top with openwork brass gallery framing. The veneer panels are arranged in a mirrored arrangement, partially bordered by gilt bronze appliqués. The locker inscribed ""Francois Braudy à Paris". 141 x 91 x 40 cm.
