Empire-style dining set

Solid mahogany with veneer, partially carved and gilded. Consisting of an extendable dining table and a set of ten chairs, including two armchairs. The table's straight, partially cambered frame features a slightly overhanging top, which also features three additional shelves. The table's four tall, tapered square legs are complemented by a central, three-sided, concave baluster shaft flanked by four sculpturally carved and partially gilded dolphins. The gondola-shaped chairs rest on tapered square legs with carved and gilded lion's paw feet. The curved, rising backrest frames feature sculptural, carved, and gilded dolphin heads at the base. Seats with modern, white upholstery. Table: D 130 cm, H 79 cm, 3 extension leaves each 60 x 130 cm, max. 310 cm. Armchairs (2): 85 x 60 x 62 cm. Chairs (8): 82 x 50 x 52 cm.
